Job Description

Duties:

- installing and configuring new technologies for user use, such as hardware and device management applications, within their competence;
- regular maintenance of the existing fleet of audiovisual and interactive equipment to support the training process and support events;
- performing regular checks on the readiness of audio-visual and interactive equipment for operation;
- assistance to users on issues related to information technologies within their competence;
- checking the status of all systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting of systems and applications;
- replacement of defective or damaged equipment;
- testing, evaluation and study of updates and new technologies within the framework of the Office of Customer IT Services;
- providing consulting and methodological assistance on the issues within the competence of the Office;

Professional competencies:

- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of information and education;
- confident knowledge of audio/video equipment functionality and technical solutions in the field of streaming lectures, events of different levels (VIP, state, marketing, etc.), presentations, conferences, distance learning;
- confident knowledge of the equipment functionality and technical solutions in the field of audio/video signal reception and processing;
- knowledge of maintenance of audio-visual and interactive equipment (work may include installation, adjustment and updating of hardware and software, as well as elimination of any problems associated with the equipment in the premises, which may occur regularly);
- knowledge of computer hardware and systems;
- analytical skills;
- customer service skills;
- work experience in Information Technology (hereinafter - IT)  support;
- availability of certificates at IT relevant to the performance of these functions (desirable);
- knowledge of MS Office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- proficiency in English, Kazakh, Russian languages

Qualifications

Education:

- Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction
