Implementation of research projects.

1) cooperating with the partners and structural divisions of the University in carrying out  research activities of the School;

2) participating in development and implementation of the research plans of the School;

3) conducting research on separate sections (stages and tasks) of the topic in accordance with approved methods;

4) participating in the research data collection;

5) compiling a description of the collected research data and drawing conclusions on them;

6) studying research and technical information, national and foreign experience on research topic;

7) preparing reports (sections of the report) on the topic or its section (stage and task);

8) participating in the dissemination of research results;

9) participating in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;

10) timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Dean, the management of  School and the management of the University within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction is preferable priority specializations:

- Pedagogical Sciences;

- Education.

Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev University”.

At least 3 years of working experience in the field corresponding to the functional areas of a particular position.

Working experience in the international team is preferable.

- Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education;

- knowledge of the mission and strategic documents for the development of the School;

- knowledge of the goals, objectives of ongoing research in the field of educational policy;

- rules of business and scientific ethics;

- rules and norms of labor protection;

- safety and fire safety;

- educational statistics and analytics;

- сomparative and international education;

- economics and education;

- management of higher education;

- approaches to the implementation of academic mobility and the internationalization of education;

- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint;

- fluency in English, Kazakh and Russian

- Nazarbayev University competency model;

- building effective relationships;

- ability to work effectively both on an individual basis and in a team;

- communication skills;

- project presentation skills;

- ability to work with confidential information;

- responsibility and diligence;

- critical thinking skills.
