5) other tasks assigned by the University management.

Job Description

 

  1. accrual of salary in accordance with the established procedure to Faculty of the University that are non-residents and residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

  2. accrual of a paid leave and a sick leave allowances in accordance with the established procedure and Legislation of RK for Faculty of the University;

  3. accrual of payments to Faculty of the University who are non-residents and residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provided for by the social policy of the University;

  4. Prepare of the advance reports for Home leave travel allowance of Faculty and their dependents according to the Travel Policy of the University;

  5. Registration in the system the non-monetary benefits for the tax purposes;

  6. Registration of one-time deductions;

  7. Reflection of the receipts for air tickets of Faculty and family members

  8. Reflection of the receipts for medical insurance of Faculty and family members

  9. accrual of a reserve for vacations in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (hereinafter - IFRS);

  10. the calculation and withholding of taxes and other obligatory payments calculated from wages and payroll;

  11. the preparation of relevant documents for transferring taxes to budgets of various levels, to extra-budgetary funds (pension fund, etc.), as well as to funds created at universities in accordance with its Charter;

  12. preparation and submission of established tax reporting;

  13.  the implementation of the current analysis of calculations with the budget;

  14.  preparation of information for the preparation of monthly, quarterly reports on their work site;

  15.  issuance of certificates to Faculty on issues of payroll and other payments and deductions from them;

  16.  monitoring changes to the IFRS on supervised issues, their analysis, bringing them to the University staff and monitoring compliance with these standards;

  17.  participation in the development of accounting policies and the proposal of changes for supervised areas;

  18.  assistance in the correct preparation of reports by the structural units of the University on supervised issues;

  19.  improvement of accounting and reporting based on the introduction of progressive forms and methods of accounting, automation of accounting and reporting in terms of setting goals and monitoring the progress of their implementation;

  20.  conducting correspondence with regulatory authorities on issues related to the performance of assigned functions;

  21.  monitoring changes in the field of accounting and tax accounting;

  22.  ensuring the safety of accounting documents, registration and their transfer in the prescribed manner to the archive;

  23.  the performance of any other organizational, technical and administrative duties within the competence

 

Qualifications

- Higher professional education, the presence of a bachelor’s / master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration.

- CIMA certificate, a professional accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan, DipIFR and / or ACCA is an advantage of the candidate

With a master's degree, the work experience in the specialty is at least 5 years in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of this position, as well as in the divisions of the financial and economic services of companies; either with a bachelor’s degree or specialist, work experience in the specialty of at least 7 years in areas corresponding to the functional areas of this position and in the departments of the financial and economic service of international and / or national companies, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in Nazarbayev University .
