  1. Management of software development tasks related to development, debugging or design of software applications, operating systems and databases in accordance with the provided design specifications;
  2. Implementation of enhancements to the existing software architecture and forecasting of future architectural enhancements;
  3. Effective implementation of software and IT support infrastructure at the University;
  4. Design of applications for management and maintenance of data security and integrity.​​​​​​

Job Description

1) evaluation of the software product on a regular basis to ensure its further compliance with the necessary requirements;

2) efficiency assessment of already used technological resources or ERP systems being implemented;

3) determination of practicality of changes and modifications of systems;

4) installation of new software and assistance in training users to use it;

5) making suggestions to the Unit management regarding possible updates and changes within the competence;

6) ensuring quality service to users, including interaction with users, responding to user requests and efficient handling of inquiries;

7) monitoring the registration of errors, comments and suggestions regarding the maintenance and development of the ERP system;

8) organizing the process of trial operation of ERP system together with structural units;

9) demonstrating effective collaboration, communication and presentation skills;

10) for the period of temporary absence, during a business trip, social leave, regular work leave,  temporary incapacity of the employee, the performance of the employee's duties is assigned to a person determined by the supervising Head;

11) participation in identification, assessment, management and monitoring of risks within the supervised direction;

12) timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Team Lead and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.

Qualifications

Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction

Priority specializations:

-        computer science or related field;

-        management of information technology;

-        engineering

Required work experience is defined in accordance to the demonstrated history of successful projects (leading/accomplishment/significance of the project) in the field of Information Technology

At least 2 years of experience in the field of IT is preferred

- Knowledge of international standards in IT;

- knowledge of functional and architecture of the used ERP system;

- knowledge  of principles of ERP system support;

- understanding of networking, software and hardware;

- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of information and education;

-change and project management skills;

- preparation and delivery presentation skills; ;

- ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;

- availability of certificates in IT relevant to the performance of these functions (desirable);
