This position is offered to support an interdisciplinary project “Mathematical modelling of Glioblastoma” funded by the Ministry of Education and Science. The project is focused on application of the mathematical modelling to oncology problem. The tools of differential equations and numerical simulation will be applied to the models prescribed. The knowledge of the reaction-diffusion equations, travelling wave solution, MATLAB programming is preferable but not essential.

The applicant will join the team of mathematicians and oncologists. The position enables to work within the project and promote as a MSc/PhD student as well.

As a team member, you will contribute to

-          Publications in scientific journals

-          Project progress report

-          Seminars on the related topics

-          Annual, semi-annual reports to be submitted to the funding organization

The salary is competitive and depends on applicant’s qualification.

PhD, Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mathematics.

Good knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and English.

Fluency in English, Kazakh or/and Russian languages.
