Company Description

The Office of the Registrar is the Academic department of the University responsible for the oversight of the academic advising unit.

Academic Advising Unit (AAU) supports students’ academic growth and personal development by advising them on degree requirements, academic policies and procedures, major exploration, course selection and study opportunities.

Job Description

  • ·        Advises NU students by assisting them in understanding and meeting their academic goals, assisting in academic planning
  • ·        Provides administrative and organizational support to the Academic advising unit
  • ·        Organizes and coordinates events and programs within the Office
  • ·        Coordinates and maintains communication/social media/website plans and activities
  • ·        Maintains accurate records of interactions with students
  • ·        Prepares special and recurring reports containing specialized or sensitive information
  • ·        Interaction with other Schools/structural units concerning questions which are in the competence
  • ·        Working with other areas of the Office as needed
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in any field, preferably from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction and medium of assessment.

·        with Bachelor degree, work experience should be at least 1 year in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of the position, international and/or national companies

Required professional experience 

  • ·        Customer service knowledge;
  • ·        Ability to work with diverse groups;
  • ·        Computer literacy;
  • ·        Knowledge of the educational system of the USA, EU and other countries
  • ·        Knowledge of graph editor programs preferable
