Center for Preparatory Studies (hereinafter-CPS) delivers two programs: Nazarbayev University Foundation Year Program and Zero Year of Master’s Programs of Nazarbayev University.

Job Description

Key job responsibilities and duties: 

1) the implementation of the organization of the School’s Open House Day, Orientation Week for students;

2) the organization and conduct of the procedure for signing educational services agreements under the pre-university training program with students;

3) provision of work on the preparation, consideration, approval, printing, registration and issuance of certificates of completion of training for students under the pre-university training program;

4) coordination of students working in the Student Access Center (SAC);

5) processing, updating of all available materials in the SAC;

6) assistance in the formation, design and delivery of examination materials of the School's programs to the University archive;

7) assistance in the administration of commercial programs;

 

8) preparation of analytical materials, presentations, information on individual tasks, assignments of the leadership on issues within the competence of the School.

Qualifications

Education 

The presence of higher education, preferably obtained in higher education institutions with teaching in English in the field of Finance, Economics, Management, Management in education or related specialties.

Desired professional experience

Work experience should meet one of the following requirements:

  •  with Bachelor degree, work experience should be at least 1 year in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of a given position at the international and/or national companies;

  • with a degree from the higher education  institution with English language of instruction and medium of assessment, work experience is not required.

Professional competence and personal qualities

  • ability to work independently, as well as a part of team;
  • ability to work with a flexible schedule and in tight deadlines;
  • diplomacy and tact;
  • knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with representatives of different cultures and nationalities;
  • clear understanding and commitment to the policy of equal opportunities, awareness of the application of this policy within the competence of this position.

Language proficiency:

Fluency in oral and written Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
