Job Description

Provides psychological services for the students of the Center of Preparation Studies (Foundation), Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Programs with diverse psychological hardships.

Follows Psychological Counseling Center (PCC) policies and procedures, including standards of confidentiality.

Makes psychological and educational conclusions if requested from faculty or administration of the University.

Provides psychological diagnostics of various profile and purposes.

Provides individual and group counseling.

Provides crisis psychological help to NU students.

Completes work documentation according to PCC policies and procedures.

Attends PCC meetings.

Develops professionally on regular basis through participation in seminars, conferences, educational programs, intensives, master classes.

Qualifications

Education:

Higher professional education specializing in psychology, counseling, psychotherapy and other related areas; master’s degree from a North American, European, or American style university is preferable.

Certificate or diploma of completion the study in long-term educational program in one of the direction of psychotherapy preferable (Cognitive-behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Psychodrama, Transactional Analysis, Body Oriented Therapy and etc.)

Desired professional experience (duration, sphere, and other)

One year experience providing mental health services.

Experience providing mental health crisis interventions.

Experience providing psychological diagnostics, counseling, psychological correction of adults and/or adolescents.

Work experience with peoples from diverse cultural background is preferable.

Analytical skills, skills of drafting reports, analytical notes.

Ability to work with software programs such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
