Company Description

1.    Planning and organizing actions for successful functioning of the School;

2.    Establishing and developing partnerships with leading national and international universities, research and scientific centers, etc.;

3.    Participating in negotiations and drafting of agreements (Memorandums and contracts) with international partners within the limits of the School’s responsibility;

Assisting in development of the University technological base.

Job Description

1.    participating in the development and implementation of the strategic objectives of the University within the competence of the School;

2.    planning operational and administrative activities of the School;

3.    monitoring the implementation of strategic and operational plans of the School;

4.    general management of the administrative staff of the School;

5.    formulating goals and objectives for the administrative staff, and monitoring the quality and timeliness of their fulfillment, as well as labor discipline;

6.    making proposals to the Dean of the School/the University management for improving administrative and operational activities of the School in order to increase its efficiency;

7.    coordinating and monitoring the budgetary process, including School budget implementation, expenditure of the funds allocated;

8.    approving key performance indicators of the administrative staff and their subsequent evaluation at the end of evaluation period;

9.    approving individual development plans of the administrative staff;

10.  management and administrative support of projects and events organized by the School;

11.  participating in negotiations and development of agreements with international and local partners;

12.  organizing monitoring of fixed assets and consumables transmitted and used by the School;

13.  coordinating and monitoring the process of administrative staff employment, including advertisement, selection, verification of accounting data and letters of recommendation;

14.  assisting administrative staff in their professional development, creating conditions for continuing professional development and motivation of employees;

15.  ensuring implementation of data privacy regime regarding the University’s  activities, unless such data disclosure is required in the framework of activities, performed by the School within his/her competence and (or) as required by the University management;

  1. performing other assignments of the Dean of the School/the University management within his/her competence

Qualifications

 

Higher education, preferably with English as a language of instruction

Master’s or PhD degrees in the field of Management/Economics/ Human Resources Management/Public Administration/Education/Engineering are preferable.

Work experience shall comply with one of the following requirements:

-          for a PhD/DBA holder, professional work experience should not be less than 5 years, including 2-3 years in a managerial position; or

-          for a master degree holder professional work experience should not be less than 7 years, including 5 years in a managerial position; or

-          for a bachelor or a specialist degree holder, work experience should not be less than 10 years, including 5-7 years in a managerial position, or in areas corresponding to the functional areas of this position in state or international and/or national companies or not less than 3 years of work experience in the University.

Obtaining professional qualification is desirable.
