Job Description
The Wellness, Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner plays a pivotal role in fostering a safe, healthy and supportive workplace across Navitas’ University Partnerships Australia and Careers & Industry Divisions globally. This role drives the organisation’s injury management and return‑to‑work program, focusing on early intervention, effective case management and strong partnerships with insurers and health providers. The WHS Business Partner also supports proactive wellbeing initiatives, including psychosocial risk management, mental health support, and annual wellness programs—helping create a positive environment where employees can thrive. Working closely with leaders, WHS representatives and HR teams, the role brings expertise, influence and coaching to embed consistent and effective safety practices across a geographically diverse organisation.
This is a hands‑on, impactful position suited to a safety professional who excels in building capability, improving systems and translating legislation into practical, meaningful outcomes. The WHS Business Partner contributes to continuous improvement through developing procedures, delivering training, supporting risk management, and analysing WHS performance to guide decision‑making. With a blend of technical expertise, case management experience and strong interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape Navitas’ WHS culture, support business leaders, and drive initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and operational safety across multiple campuses and business units.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or Allied Health Profession
- Eligible for membership of AIHS as Certified WHS Practitioner/Certified WHS Professional
