Job Description

Do you want to play a hands-on role in connecting school students with life-changing education opportunities?

The Schools Engagement Officer plays a key role in delivering national schools engagement activity that supports student recruitment and brand growth across ACAP University College and SAE University College.

Working as part of a nationally distributed marketing team, this role supports the coordination and execution of initiatives that connect with the secondary school sector - building awareness, consideration and lead generation among school leavers.

Reporting to the National Schools Channel Manager, the role works closely with campus teams, brand marketing, events and sales to ensure schools engagement activity is delivered consistently, professionally and at scale across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Schools Engagement Delivery

  • Support the execution of national schools engagement initiatives aligned to recruitment and brand objectives.
  • Assist in coordinating school presentations, campus visits, career advisor programs, expos and events.
  • Work with campus teams to ensure consistent delivery aligned to national priorities and messaging.
  • Support rollout of schools engagement toolkits, communications and resources.

National Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate national logistics for schools engagement activity, including collateral distribution, mail-outs, engagement calendars and event support.
  • Maintain systems, processes and workflows that support effective delivery across campuses.
  • Support coordination of national programs and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and locations.

Lead Nurturing & Communications

  • Support lead nurturing activity for school audiences in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Assist with campaign coordination, communications and content distribution to school stakeholders.
  • Ensure leads and engagement activity are captured accurately in CRM and marketing platforms.
  • Support reporting on engagement and campaign performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams across campuses, marketing and sales.
  • Support engagement with secondary schools, career advisors and education networks.
  • Act as a coordination link between national strategy and campus execution.

Performance, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to reporting on schools engagement performance, including brand awareness, leads and enrolments.
  • Monitor activity to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
  • Gather insights from events, campuses and school stakeholders to inform improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement of schools marketing processes, resources and programs.

  • You’re confident presenting to groups, facilitating sessions and representing your organisation professionally in external environments such as schools, events and community settings.

  • With strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset, you enjoy contributing to initiatives that make a real impact nationally while working closely with teams across campuses and functions.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, events, business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing coordination, events, logistics or stakeholder engagement roles.
  • Experience working within education, youth engagement or recruitment environments highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting campaigns, communications or lead-generation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing/CRM platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
  • Confidence presenting to groups and representing the organisation in external environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams and work autonomously when required.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support schools engagement activity.
