Job Description

  • Arrange business travel for our corporate accounts, with a focus but not limited to group bookings
  • Manage the operations process for registering group air events and coordinating among both departments
  • Ensure and set up proper coding and reporting
  • Manage agent processes for group air ticketing
  • Identify the needs for the group and preferred reservations methods
  • Identify and communicate group travel policy
  • Set up and manage air reporting and schedules
  • Manage build for air travel integration in online registration (SU4 and Cvent); monitor and manage registration data, reporting, and integration with the event registration process and attendee communications
  • Coordinate reporting for integrated travel from online registration
  • Provide air activity and arrival/ departure manifest reports
  • Manage small meeting contracts (10 – 25 rooms/ night) – work with team for sourcing, contracting, and managing for compliance and terms
    • Support management of meeting compliance for larger groups
    • Work within the guidelines of the Group Contracting policies and operations (including Cvent sourcing)
  • Support chartered ground coordination and travel manifests for arrivals and departures, including coordinating with dispatch
  • Manage coordination and cross checks for air and travel, including rail or charter by jet as required
  • On-site support for programs as needed (including additional duties as an extension of the Event Coordination team)
  • Some travel may be required

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience as corporate travel specialist
  • Proficiency in Sabre
  • 2+ years experience with group travel arrangements including contracts, air, hotel and ground support
  • General knowledge of MICE industry; industry experience desired
  • Industry knowledge and reservation skills in order to create domestic and multi-segment, multi-destination international itineraries for VIP clients.
  • Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards
  • Excellent customer service skill required
