Nave Newell is a consulting firm with 40 professionals who provide civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and landscape architectural services to property owners and developers throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. We are seeking motivated professionals with strong technical skills to join our team heading into our 26th year.

Job Description

In this position, you will collaborate with a team of professionals in a positive and supportive environment. You will plan, direct and complete challenging and exciting land development projects. This is an opportunity for an engineer that would like to join a company that has a culture that embraces change, keeps family first and makes a difference.

  • Directs company staff including project engineers, staff engineers and CAD technicians as well as other service staff having direct project involvement.

  • Acts as primary client contact including facilitating work with other project team members/consultants for all assigned projects. Initiates and maintains communication with clients and other project team consultants to facilitate project activities.

  • Monitors and controls staffing, schedule and budget to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.

  • Represents the company in project meetings and formulates updates or reports on work progress, costs and scheduling.

  • Collaborates with the Department Manager to mentor staff on engineering and land development topics.

Qualifications

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with the land development approval process, including project management or project task assignments.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead employees among different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to delegate work appropriately to staff while maintaining personal and staff accountability for their work products.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Engineer (PE).
