Job Description
The Electronic Trading Foundation Services (ETFS) platform is integral to the management and execution of cross-asset orders. As part of its continuous evolution, we are seeking a versatile Dev/DevOps Engineer to enhance our deployment processes, manage environments, and develop auxiliary tools crucial for maintaining high productivity and system integrity.
- Maintain and improve existing deployment tools and processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software release cycles.
- Conduct studies and evaluations to prepare for potential cloud migration, focusing on scalability and resource optimization.
- Manage development and testing environments, ensuring they are stable and effectively configured.
- Automate test processes and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline, enhancing productivity and delivery precision.
- Develop and maintain supplemental tools such as simulators, process managers, and log parsers to aid in the productivity of the ETFS team.
- Collaborate on the enhancement and utilization of our existing ELK stack and APM service mapping, providing technical and functional dashboards.
- Analyze and exploit indicators to deliver insights for performance and functionality improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Groovy.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical utilities and productivity-enhancing tools.
- Familiarity with ELK stack configuration and APM service management for dashboard creation and indicator tracking.
- Ability to work across a range of development and operations tasks, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
- Development skills in C# are a bonus.
