Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our Collateral and Cash Management team in the back office of our investment bank. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications within the Calypso platform, focusing on collateral management and cash processing functionalities. You will collaborate with business analysts and other developers to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and support regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain Java applications within the Calypso framework to support collateral and cash management processes.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth application performance and user experience.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development and testing.
· Assist in the integration of Calypso with other systems and tools within the bank's technology stack.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
· Experience with Java development (3-5 years) and familiarity with the Calypso platform is preferred;
· Experience with SpringBoot framework;
· Understanding of back-office operations in investment banking, particularly in collateral and cash management;
· Understanding of software development principles and methodologies;
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
