In the service of « Calculator and Monitoring » in the CFIT Risks, Matrisk is one of the application that contribute to:

• The production of market risk indicators;
• Econometrics for market and counterparty risks;
• Supply of risk systems by the management systems of the trading room

The Econometrics team is a center ensuring the management of market data within the "metric processing" department, and in particular in the management of risk factor repositories and the generation of Monte-Carlo scenarios of disseminated data for VaR calculations.

The mission is a service of maintenance and evolution of the engines of diffusion of the econometrics VaR, IRC, EEPE & CVA

Integrated within the team, person must be autonomous and present himself as a referent of the team on the Econometrics IRC and VaR part.

Working in project mode - Agile environment, he must also be able to respond quickly to requests from his team in the case of bugs/PROD support.

The person will also have to work on various corrective and evolutionary maintenance tasks like the whole team.

In terms of the technical environment, econometrics is in charge of various java & Matlab scripts running in a Unix environment with a Big Data storage system (Hadoop). Knowledge of file manipulation under Unix is expected.

Objectives:

• Gathering and Analysis of Business Requirements for new and ongoing projects;
• Managing and Responding to Support Requests;
• Writing Specifications and User Stories;
• Defining the planning for Implementation of requests / projects
• Track and report Project progress.

Candidate should have:

• Solid knowledge in financial products and market data;
• Proven experience in IT Business Analytics;
• Knowledge in mathematics and statistics
• Good level of English – minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Familiarity with agile methodologies;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Organization, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
