Job Description

We are looking for a Team Leader for BPCE SI Teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the team and act as a facilitator with France Teams
  • Motivating the team to achieve performance goals.
  • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
  • Identify training needs for the Team Members
  • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback
  • Define strategies with management for the development of the Activities locally
  • Gather metrics and calculate KPIs in order to help to set goals for the Team
  • Hands on: our Team Leaders are also hands on, part of your day will be developing with the Team

Qualifications

Team Leader Requirements:

  • IT or related University/College degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills (Fluent in English and French)
  • Confidence and skillful negotiating skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.

Tech skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Javascript (5+ years)

  • Good knowledge of Angular (experienced with versions 9+) (3+ years)

  • Good knowledge of semantic HTML5

  • Good knowledge of Typescript (3+ years)

  • Good knowledge of CSS and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS

  • Good knowledge of RxJS (3+years)

  • Good knowledge of unit testing, with Jest, Jasmine/Karma or similar

  • Good knowledge of versioning systems, like Git

  • Good knowledge of NPM - managing libraries and dependencies

  • Familiarity with Accessibility

  • Familiarity with the Scrum agile methodology
