Job Description

Integrated in the Merchants Homebanking platform, the new Cashing Selfcare project will allow the merchant to access its major payment by card and POS information, from the consultation of its payment contract to all the transaction flowing through its classical or Android POS devices. Furthermore, it will allow the merchant to order new POS and even manage their services providing this way more payment options to its customers.

 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Integrate an agile-based organization within an internationally distributed squad composed by POs, BAs, QAs and DEVs.
  • Active participation in Agile development team throughout all the development cycle.
  • Deliver high quality solutions through innovative design aligned with good development practices.
  • Design and develop testable, clean, efficient, reusable, easy to understand quality code.
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Maintenance and new feature development on a range of applications.
  • Think critically about existing processes, share knowledge and suggest improvements in our team routine as well as technical improvement.
  • Improve development technical documentation.
  • Prepare, delivery and track platform releases, interacting with other teams.

              

Qualifications

Main Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
  • 4+ years of experience developing in JAVA (preferably Java 8 or above) and object-oriented languages.
  • Experience in java frameworks like Spring (Boot, MVC, Batch), Java EE (CDI, RestEasy), JPA / Hibernate.
  • Experience in Tomcat, JBoss use.
  • Good Knowledge of software architecture and design related topics (SOLID principles, Design patterns, etc).
  • Knowledge in Web Services (REST/SOAP - JSON/XML) with experience developing RESTful web services (writing APIs code, documenting and some experience with an API gateway solution).
  • Experience working Message brokers (preferably Kafka).
  • Experience with Unit testing using Junit/Mockito, or other testing libraries.
  • 3+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (preferably above Angular 12).
  • Knowledge of React framework (nice to have but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge in Web Services (REST/SOAP - JSON/XML) with experience in RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Unit testing in Angular (E2E testing - nice to have), or other testing libraries.
  • Understanding relational databases such as Oracle.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (nice to have, not mandatory).
  • Experience with build tools (git, maven) and continuous integration principles and tools (preferably Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release).
  • Comfortable with Linux environment (not mandatory).

 

Other Requirements

  • Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory); French is a plus.
  • Availability to come to the office 2 days per week (mandatory but flexible).
  • Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban, Jira) or experience working in an agile environment (nice to have).
  • Ability to work in an international and distributed team.
  • Problem solving, organizational, client-oriented, analytical and communication skills required, verbal and written 
  • Positive mindset with innovative thinking and proactive attitude.
  • A real passion for learning, doing things better and helping others sharing knowledge – and an ability to turn ideas into reality

Additional Information

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office.
 
Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.
 
Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.
 
Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
