Job Description

Team presentation and main goal:

As part of the Finance Direction, you will integrate the Financial Data Integrity department (FDI) which oversees the labelling of financial data for CIB activities of Natixis (balance sheet and off-balance sheet).

This department counts about 140 people with a target to be bilocated (80 in Porto and 60 in Paris).

You will join a team of 5 people in Porto.

As a Transversal Quality Advisor, of a major French banking institution with international dimension, you will:

  • Manage the Global Quality process & Remediation Topics for Finance;
  • Oversee and manage projects related to Data Management and within Finance perimeter;
  • Ensure that all projects’ requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.

You will be in contact with the other teams of Finance Data Integrity, the internal Finance partners and Finance IT teams.

Perimeters:

As a Transversal Quality Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop project plans and schedules (Roadmaps) and ensure that all project requirements are successfully achieved;
  • Manage project risks and be diligent around attention points;
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time;
  • Prepare and lead the various committees (Business & IT) and communicate with stakeholders to ensure they are informed of project progress;
  • Analyze and monitor data anomalies reported by the various Finance teams, for Global financing, Global markets and Trade/Cash;
  • Support change and act like an ambassador for the implementation of new data monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Management, Audit, Accounting or Risk;
  • Previous experience with Business Project Management;
  • Capacity to formalize & Communicate to Senior Management and Operational Teams;
  • Knowledge of Banking activities and products ( CIB - Corporate Investment Banking);
  • Capacity to work transversally with various interlocutors;
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office pack (priority with drafted and presentation tool Power Point);
  • Fluent in English (mandatory);
  • French is a plus.

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office.
 
Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.
 
Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.
 
Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
