Considering the specific configuration of EMEA Financial Permanent Control, the role operationally reports to and assists the Expert Leader of EMEA FPC2 (based in Paris), the job holder carries out second level financial control over accounting (trial balance, general ledger, consolidation packages local, French and IFRS), regulatory reporting and tax for all branches/subsidiaries within the EMEA region (London, Milan, Madrid, Dubai, Frankfurt, Moscow, Saudi).

You will work closely with Expert Leader of EMEA FPC2 in order to contribute to the efficiency of the existing LOD1 and LOD2 control set-up.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Perform quarterly LOD1 closing controls, within tight timescales for all EMEA branches and entities, this review being performed with additional LOD2 controls;
• Prepare the draft quarterly reporting to EMEA CFCC and HO CFCC;
• Perform ad hoc and thematic controls including (but not limited to) – business process and control changes, external regulatory, tax and accounting change, system implementations, risk-based projects addressing control issues arising, ad hoc control tests;
• Prepare the control working files of the controls performed;
• Communicate and document the potential findings and of areas of improvement on controlled scopes;
• Update the control programs for implementation during controls.

• 3 years experience in audit;
• Knowledge of financial audit techniques as well as banking regulations and internal controls;
• Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel Macros, PowerPoint, Power BI);
• Financial/accounting background;
• Well-organised and attentive to details;
• Understanding of CIB products, including both Financing and Global Markets;
• Ability to produce detailed and concise analysis;
• Professional English, both written and spoken;
• Good communication skills, able to build good professional relationships with colleagues in other locations/ from other cultures.

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office.
 
Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.
 
Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.
 
Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
