We are looking for a Network Tools Administrator (local contract) to join one of our teams in our Infrastructures and Security business unit in Porto.

The position of Network Tools Administrator is focused on maintaining and improving the necessary tools and systems for DTN (Datacenter Telecom & Network) activities.

A common API and SPA integrates and provisions all the tools used by DTN, it is the center point of for network configuration and management and interfaces with other team’s global tools such as CMDB or ones used by the monitoring center.

The candidate will work in close proximity with the developer team and will need to communicate with Paris teams in order to administrate and support this platform, improving the core stability and resilience and integrating more tools as the needs evolve.
Some support to legacy tools will be necessary while the functionalities are being migrated to the centralized tool.
 

Main Tasks and Responsabilities:

• Manage and maintain the servers, services and databases;
• Integration of with the developer team focusing on a DevSecOps mindset;
• Monitoring using Centreon (Nagios based) that sends alarms to BMC TrueSight (monitoring center).

Main Requirements:

- Experience/knowledge with the following technologies:

• Linux Administration (RHEL / CentOS) - 3 years minimum;
• Bash / Ansible / Python / Git (Bitbucket);
• Docker / Kubernetes

- Knowledge on the following technologies is a plus:

• Perl;
• Openshift;
• Jenkins;
• Windows;
• Familiar with agile methodologies

Other Requirements:

• Good level of English (B1 - mandatory);
• Good level of French (B1 - mandatory);
• Good communication skills;
• Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Autonomous, while capable of working within a team;
• Fast and adaptable learner.

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office.

Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.

Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.

Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
