Team presentation and main goal:

The Business Support & Controls department of Natixis aims at supporting daily the Front Office on market activities. In the framework of this department, the FO reconciliation teams is responsible for the FO reconciliation, the objective is to ensure the correct representation of the operations in the FO IT System on an extended products perimeter(inter and intra SI FO operations/ Operations concluded via execution platforms). This team is an important element in the operational first level control set up (PnL, risk and anti- fraud).

Main tasks and goals:

The FO reconciliation Manager’s main tasks are to:

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activity of the FO reconciliations team;
• Manage the team: recruitment, skills development, performance assessment, organisation and process optimisation, continuous improvement, operational risk management, transversal projects…;
• Participate in the various committees that may involve this team. The manager will be the privileged link with the management of the HO;
• Ensure strict compliance with procedures and their permanent updating;
• Ensure that the team complies with the internal code of conduct;
• Provide the documents/ KPI requested by the external/internal auditors or any other departments, in coordination with management.

Main tasks executed by the team:

• Management of FO reconciliations (detailed analysis, anomalies reporting, communication with Front offices and business analyst to solve the discrepancies etc.…);
• Management of tools maintenance to enhance the quality of the reconciliations (Business requirements and testing);
• Management of detected anomalies during controls of consistency;
• Management of internals and externals reporting of activities.

• Master Degree in Finance;
• Management skills and experience leading operational teams; 
• Experience in controls of market financial products (Bonds, Equities, IRS, TRS, FX…);
• FO to Post trade processes and controls, as well as operational risks knowledge and experience;
• Knowledge of vendors software such as Sophis, Summit or Murex (at least one);
• Regulatory reporting obligations knowledge is a plus;
• Fluency in English and French (mandatory);
• Communications skills (oral and written) and teamwork spirit;
• Stress resistance, availability and reactivity in our fast-paced environment;
• Autonomy and initiative, as well as accuracy, rigor, tenacity and  reliability in all tasks performed.

Early morning. Campo 24 de Agosto. In 4 minutes, you are clocking in at the office. After grabbing a cup of coffee and fresh fruit, pick up your laptop and choose your spot for the day. It's going to be a busy one: French class before lunch and, just after, quick medical appointment at Natixis doctor's office.
 
Lunch break. Outside in the big terrace (look at your crops at the Urban Garden; ready to harvest!) or, if you feel like stretching your legs, walk downtown to grab lunch.
 
Back inside. Quick sprint review (working together anywhere means virtual happy birthday to that colleague in Paris that just turned 35). The afternoon went flying (tasks, reports, calls, some jokes with your teammates). End it on a high note: just one PlayStation game or the final match for that ping-pong tournament.
 
Tomorrow, you complete that certified technical training and the day after, you will work from home, taking advantage to finally do that online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to surf some waves or join them in a football match.
