Job Description
- Maintain Native Edge Landscape’s financial books with preferred accounting software
- Efficiently perform all activities related to the accounts receivable process including issuing invoices to customers in a timely manner, receiving payments, making bank deposits, and collections
- Efficiently perform all activities related to accounts payable process including reviewing and coding purchase invoices and receipts, and ensuring bill payments are prepared an processed on time
- Work closely with Controller to ensure financial reports are accurate and legal requirements are compliant
- Notify Landscape Designers and Foremen, as appropriate, when payments are received
- Work with Technical Director on any accounting software problems or changes
- Communicate regular financial updates, concerns, and discrepancies to the General Manager and/or Controller
- Create and maintain all project Profit & Losses reports accordingly
- Create monthly company Profit & Losses reports
- Create and maintain weekly bills sheet and meet with General Manager weekly to provide all factual information on these reports
Qualifications
1 year Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk experience. Quickbooks knowledge is a plus.
