Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Operator - Online Services to join our team in Victoria, BC. Responsible for contacting current and prospective Money Mart customers to close OPDL applications in accordance with company policies and procedures. Also responsible for maintaining relationships with customers. Identify opportunities and execute a consultative sales approach to maximize sales potential and meet or exceed targets. To provide quality phone, chat and email support with a high degree of customer service and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, voicemail, email, faxes, chat or escalations, and provide support in accordance with current standards of the Online Services team.
- Identify and close sales with loan prospects
- Develop and maintain appropriate level of Money Mart OPDL knowledge
- Probe for customer needs and proactively up selling/facilitating the sale of company products.
- Proactively contacting customers in order to prevent any obstacles from deterring the customer and getting the loan processed.
- Document customer interactions and feedback that help NMM understand customer needs and behaviours.
- Research and identify fraud issues and be aware of suspicious activity. Document fraud cases and escalate them to Loss Prevention.
- Manage all aspects of the Online Loan Product, including but not limited to; processing approvals, denials, vouchers and funding of loans.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
- Work with other corporate departments to solve technical issues as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service/sales setting is mandatory
- Proficient in providing phone, email and chat support.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
- Is highly motivated to attain Money Mart’s goals, both qualitatively and quantitatively
