Working closely with energy providers, Golden Egg Energy compares all UK suppliers’ internet, standard, and fixed tariffs to optimise clients’ energy budgets.

Job Description

The company is looking for an energetic and target-driven Sales Team Leader. The Sales Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a group of sales associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and improving sales performance by providing adequate coaching, motivation, and accountability. Previous experience in managing a sales team in a UK-based gas and electricity campaign is essential.

This is a full-time, shift-based position.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing, and leading a team of Sales Agents
  • Optimising sales and conversions
  • Delivering success against KPI targets through strong team management
  • Establishing an encouraging learning environment that motivates agents
  • Daily coaching, mentoring, and objections management
  • Overseeing agent compliance in line with best industry practice
  • Strategising and implementing sales strategies to increase client pipeline
  • HR administration and performance management
  • Organising and conducting team meetings
  • Data and lead management

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have Matric
  • Candidates must have a clear criminal record
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ Team Leader experience in an outbound call center environment
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ Team Leader experience working on a UK- based campaign
  • Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, speak fluent English, and have a neutral accent
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective negotiation and persuasion skills

Additional Information

  • Working shifts (compulsory)

Salary: R15000 – R20000, with uncapped commission
