Job Description
The position holder will be responsible for fundraising in general, from community fundraising, grants/trusts and developing other key income streams: major donors, regular giving and corporate. The post holder will hold a strategic overview of NAW Association’s fundraising needs and be a key player in the communications and marketing. The purpose of this position is to increase the provision of funding streams to enable NAW association to carry out its objectives and increase opportunities for developing new and existing projects.
· Research, Inspire and contact new supporters/donors, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing ones.
· Develop and update a strategic plan to guide fundraising activities.
· Manage, support, and develop innovative fundraising activities.
· Contribute to bid writing for grant/trust applications.
· Prepare and Deliver presentations to interested groups.
· Develop and broaden corporate support.
· Develop and coordinate web-based fundraising, including and not limited to social media campaigns.
· Maintain and update the fundraising and communications budgets.
· Prepare fundraising report.
· Maintain the fundraising records, database, and documents.
Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are in accordance with the Lebanese Laws (elections law and other relevant laws) in coordination with the legal department
Qualifications
I. Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, and communications or any other relevant major
- Good knowledge of office administration and procedures.
- Basic Business knowledge
II. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
III. Competencies:
Technical:
- Very Good command of English, French, and Arabic
- Excellent use of MS office (mainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Skills and behavioral:
- Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Very strong organizational skills
- Creative and persuasive profile
- Detail oriented
IV. Work environment:
- Environmental conditions: N/A
- Physical requirements and conditions: Ability to stay behind the office all day or attending meetings outside the association’s premises. Staying after working hours occasionally, if needed.
