Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager, International Technical Sales who is passionate about the software industry and global technology markets.
This role combines technical understanding with international business development. The ideal candidate will support the company’s efforts to expand into global markets by identifying potential clients, presenting technology solutions, and managing relationships with international customers.
The selected candidate will work closely with technical teams, project managers, and senior leadership to understand client requirements and deliver effective software solutions to global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue international business opportunities for software development and IT solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients and partners.
- Participate in technical sales discussions, discovery sessions, and solution presentations with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the technical and project teams to design appropriate solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track potential international opportunities.
- Support negotiation and closing of deals with international clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new markets and potential clients.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects and existing customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software sales, IT consulting, or technical sales roles.
- Experience working with international clients or global markets will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of software development processes and technology solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage B2B sales processes and client relationships.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience selling custom software development, SaaS solutions, ERP systems, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern technology stacks.
- Experience interacting with international markets.
- Understanding of consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
