Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

· Total experience 6+ years  

· Strong experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with technical development and consulting.

· Strong hands-on experience in RICEW, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, reports, interfaces, customizations, and workflows.

· Proven experience in developing, maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting Oracle ERP applications, with a strong focus on production support and continuous improvements.

· Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, including database objects, performance optimization, SQL/PLSQL tuning, packages, procedures, functions, and ref cursors.

· Experience designing custom database solutions for applications and integrating Oracle databases with other databases/systems.

· Strong experience with Oracle reporting technologies, including BI Publisher, XML Reports, OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Center/FRS.

· Good understanding of data flow and underlying tables across Oracle Finance and SCM modules such as PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, and INV.

· Experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion technical solutions, integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and application customizations.

· Hands-on experience with frequent code deployments across multiple environments such as Development, Test, UAT, and Production.

· Experience in designing, developing, testing, and documenting technical solutions in line with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or similar implementation methodologies.

· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective technical solutions.

· Experience working with Git or other version-control tools is preferred.

· Functional candidates with strong technical competency may also be considered and will be assessed on the technical skills mentioned above.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as an Oracle ERP Technical Consultant, working closely with application development, functional, and support teams to deliver high-quality Oracle ERP solutions.

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance technical solutions across Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud/Fusion applications.

• Develop and manage Oracle database objects, including tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, and other DB components required for applications and reporting.

• Develop and support RICEW components, PL/SQL solutions, reports, interfaces, customizations, and workflows based on business requirements.

• Design and implement technical solutions for custom applications, reports, database integrations, and Oracle ERP enhancements.

• Troubleshoot application and database issues by tracing data flow and application logic, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective solutions.

• Perform Oracle database performance tuning and optimization, including SQL/PLSQL performance analysis and resolution of database-related bottlenecks.

• Develop and support reports using BI Publisher, XML Reports, OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Center/FRS as required.

• Work closely with customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and deliver complete solutions.

• Support Oracle Finance and SCM applications and provide technical assistance across modules such as PO, AP, AR, FA, GL, and INV.

• Develop and support integrations between Oracle ERP/Cloud applications and external systems using technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.

• Perform technical testing, debugging, deployment, and post-deployment validation across multiple environments.

• Prepare technical design documents, specifications, test documentation, and implementation deliverables in accordance with OUM and organizational standards.

• Participate in production support activities, incident resolution, bug fixing, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Establish and maintain coding standards, development procedures, deployment practices, and technical best practices within the team.

• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, developers, project managers, business users, and client stakeholders across teams and geographies.

• Take ownership of technical deliverables and proactively identify and resolve project challenges and risks, escalating issues to project or senior management when required.

• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members while contributing to a positive and high-performance team environment.

• Stay adaptable to new Oracle Cloud technologies, tools, integration frameworks, and development practices to support evolving business and project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
