Job Description
We are looking for a Program Manager – Banking & Financial Services to manage the successful delivery of technology programs and projects for our global clients. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, engage with customer stakeholders, ensure smooth project execution, and contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities within existing client accounts. You will bring together delivery excellence, technical understanding, and customer focus to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of technology programs and projects within the Banking & Financial Services domain.
- Coordinate project teams to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted delivery partner.
- Support account management and business development activities by identifying opportunities for account growth and collaborating with sales teams.
- Monitor project budgets, revenue, resource utilization, and financial performance to ensure successful program execution.
- Prepare and present project status reports, MIS reports, risk assessments, and executive updates.
- Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and delivery teams to resolve issues and ensure successful implementation.
- Apply established project management methodologies to manage scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and project governance.
- Work within Agile and Scrum delivery environments, supporting effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to project estimations, planning, and solution discussions during pre-sales and project initiation phases.
- Travel to customer locations as required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience managing technology programs or multiple projects in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery best practices.
- Experience in account management and business development, with the ability to identify opportunities for expanding client engagements.
- Previous experience in a technical role such as Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or Solution Lead before moving into program management.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client engagement skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, revenue tracking, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
- Mandatory experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain.
- Experience with Agile project scoping is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel on short notice based on project requirements.
