Requirements

  • Experience : 4 - 6.5 Years
  • Proven experience in OBIEE/OAS involving RPD & Metadata modelling and OBIEE Interactive Dashboards design and development.
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing the physical layer, business model and mapping layer, and presentation layers of the OBIEE Repository using the Administration tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement security at both data level and object level.
  • Experience in developing OLAP reports for reporting and ad-hoc query requirements.
  • Solid understanding of data normalization and de-normalization, as well as performance tuning techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in tuning OBIEE/ODI processes to meet performance requirements for reports.
  • Sound understanding of RDBMS concepts, preferably Oracle.
  • Expertise in writing advanced Oracle SQL queries, including DML and DDL statements.
  • Experience implementing Multi-user development environment structures.
  • Familiarity with best practices in DevOps and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Proven track record of high-quality project deliveries and technical achievements.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with an innovative approach to technology and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and expanding environment.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with data analysts, business analysts, database administrators, and business project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex reports and dashboards using OBIEE/OAS, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Collect and analyze implementation requirements from stakeholders and convert them into tangible, actionable deliverables.
  • Develop reports, charts, and dashboards with various views using OBIEE presentation services, tailoring outputs to user needs.
  • Manage and maintain the OBIEE Repository, including the physical, business model, mapping, and presentation layers, to support evolving data structures and business rules.
  • Apply security configurations effectively at both data and object levels to ensure appropriate access controls.
  • Optimize report performance through data normalization, de-normalization, and performance tuning techniques across OBIEE and ODI processes.
  • Write and maintain advanced Oracle SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and definition as part of development and troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaborate within a multi-user development environment, ensuring version control and consistent practices across the team.
  • Adhere to DevOps and Agile delivery practices, contributing to continuous improvement in development workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting, data integrity, and system performance, applying strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and project requirements, maintaining a high standard of delivery in a dynamic environment.
  • Support the overall data warehouse strategy by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting solutions align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
