Job Description

We are looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join a development team working on a well-established enterprise case management application used by public-sector organizations. You will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of a complex software solution, implementing new features, resolving defects, and supporting regular software releases.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a mature, mission-critical application in close collaboration with Product Owners, Quality Assurance, and Release Management.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain a large-scale enterprise application using C++.
  • Implement new functionality and maintain existing features across the application.
  • Work extensively with Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Support document generation and data processing components.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
  • Contribute to build, deployment, and release activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, and Release Management teams.
  • Work with development tasks and issue tracking using JIRA.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong professional experience with C++
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ideally Oracle Database
  • Good German language skills for communication with the development team and stakeholders
  • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an Agile team
