Job Description

  • Design and govern scalable enterprise data architectures for analytics and AI, using frameworks such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric.
  • Establish best practices in data modeling, integration, governance, security, and compliance across modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Lead technical presales engagements and client workshops; translate business needs into scalable architectures and solution concepts.
  • Contribute to RFPs, deliver solution presentations and PoCs, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Own architecture across project phases, collaborating with distributed teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, support project governance, and mentor team members.
  • Contribute to internal best practices, reusable assets, and thought leadership in Data & Analytics.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, integration, and analytics in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in modern data ecosystems (data modeling, ETL/ELT, BI/analytics, data quality, governance).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake, including lakehouse and data warehouse architectures.
  • Experience with data strategy, governance frameworks, master data management, or AI/ML-driven data use cases.
  • Proven background in technical presales, client workshops, and solution design aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to present solutions, showcase accelerators, and collaborate with internal practices and sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills; able to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Business-fluent German and strong English skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills in distributed, international teams with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
