Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail Project Manager who would be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP IS Retail projects on time, within scope, and budget, while aligning solutions to retail business objectives and SAP best practices.
- The candidate should have proven experience managing full lifecycle SAP projects, preferably with focus on SAP IS Retail or SAP Retail solutions, and good understanding of core retail processes (merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory, store operations) and how they are supported by SAP IS Retail.
- Project management certification is preferred; any SAP or Agile certifications are an advantage.
- Key Responsibilities include Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for SAP IS Retail implementations, rollouts, and enhancements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource plans, and cost estimates, and track progress against plan.
- Lead cross-functional project teams (functional, technical, integration, testing, change management) and coordinate work across IS Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, and Store Operations.
- Create project governance, manage risks, issues, and dependencies, including maintaining risk and issue logs and driving mitigation and resolution.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project sponsors and key stakeholders, providing regular status reports, steering committee updates, and decision support.
- Ensure adherence to chosen delivery methodology (for example, SAP Activate / Agile / Hybrid), including managing phases, quality gates, and documentation. Oversee key project activities such as business requirements and blueprinting, solution design reviews, testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live/hyper care.
- Coordinate with SAP IS Retail functional leads to ensure configuration, integrations, and data migration meet business requirements and performance expectations. Manage project financial management: budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and managing projects to financial targets.
