Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Total year of experience 9+ years 
  • Strong experience in ERP Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) as a Functional Consultant.
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle EPM implementations.
  • In-depth understanding of Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reconciliation processes.
  • Strong functional expertise across multiple Oracle EPM modules such as Planning (EPBCS), Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Profitability & Cost Management (PCMCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), Narrative Reporting (EPRCS), and Tax Reporting (TRCS).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring metadata, business rules, forms, dashboards, and security.
  • Experience with Smart View, Financial Reporting, and Narrative Reporting.
  • Exposure to Data Management (FDMEE) and REST APIs (added advantage).
  • Experience working with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools like JIRA or MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their alignment with Oracle EPM solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, solutions, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop strategies, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues, providing innovative and effective solutions to meet client needs.
  • Preferred: Exposure to Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials).
  • Good to have: Oracle Cloud EPM certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
  • Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
  • Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the clients requirements
  • Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
  • Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
  • Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
  • Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
  • Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
