Nagarro's global SAP business unit is a leading IT full-service provider for critical business applications and complex ERP landscapes in digital transformation. We advise our customers on IT strategy and processes, implement and operate systems including the associated support and maintenance. In addition to many years of SAP experience in cross-industry core processes, we have distinctive and specific know-how in retail, the process industry, manufacturing, professional services and the public sector. We take an open-ended approach and support our customers in on-prem, cloud or hybrid scenarios. In addition, we offer products developed in-house to increase efficiency.

• Ensure smooth operation of SAP systems, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system updates
• Analyze and resolve incidents and problems as part of 2nd and 3rd level support
• Plan, implement, and execute SAP release upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
• Take ownership of SAP HANA technology planning and HANA migrations
• Perform system administration, configuration, and performance optimization
• Lead or contribute to SAP Basis projects, including project management responsibilities when required
• Support presales activities, advising new customers on platform and infrastructure services
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable and scalable SAP solutions

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification – or several years of relevant professional experience
• Strong hands-on experience in the setup, operation, and maintenance of SAP systems
• Proven experience with SAP upgrades, patches, and database upgrades (ABAP & Java)
• Solid knowledge of at least two SAP databases, such as SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, or similar
• Experience or strong interest in Service Delivery Management and Consulting
• Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends for critical activities (e.g. upgrades or go-lives)
• Business-fluent German (C1) and good command of English (B2)
