Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Testing Consultant to oversee and manage the testing processes within our SAP environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our OneERP project across various streams and sub-projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Test Management:
    • Clarification of test time windows.
    • Consolidation and plausibility check of test-relevant activities, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Test Process Control and Monitoring:
    • Overseeing the test process and deliverables across all streams and sub-projects.
    • Ensuring alignment and integration of testing activities with overall project goals.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Advancing the clarification of test-related issues within the OneERP project across all streams and sub-projects.
    • Serving as an interface to management roles of streams and sub-projects, as well as the overall PM of OneERP.
  • Status Reporting:
    • Providing regular status reports to program management regarding test planning, preparation, and execution.
    • Reporting on milestones, including quality gates and test readiness.
  • Support and De-escalation:
    • Acting as a support and de-escalation instance for all inquiries in the test environment.
    • Assisting sub-projects and streams with test process and tool handling.
  • Task Initiation and Monitoring:
    • Initiating, supporting, and monitoring essential tasks within the test process, such as:
      • Test case creation
      • Test data specification and provision
      • Test user specification and provision
      • Test execution
      • Defect management (from a testing perspective)
      • Lessons learned workshops
  • Operational Support:
    • Creating and implementing status reports and test completion reports.
    • Uploading test cases to the SAP Solution Manager.
    • Developing test plans for individual functional tests.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in test management within SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with management and sub-project teams.
  • Proficient in using SAP Solution Manager for test management.
  • Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
