Compensation Analyst

What You Will Do

Job Summary:

The Compensation Analyst will partner closely with the Compensation Manager to analyze, design, and administer the organization’s compensation programs across all lines of business. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who excels in a fast-paced collaborative environment, enjoys working on multiple projects, and establishing processes that improve the manager and employee experience. The position will report directly to the Director of HR Services, partner with the Compensation Manager and the entire HR team.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the Compensation Manager to establish organizations’ compensation philosophy. 
  • Conducts market pricing analysis for new and existing positions.
  • Responsible for maintaining & evaluating the market pricing software and implementing additional modules and functionalities. 
  • Assists in developing and implementing a market competitive salary range and bonus structure. 
  • Assists in administering the annual performance review and merit cycle process including but not limited to budgeting, planning, approvals, and payouts.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert in determining FLSA classifications for new and existing positions, escalating difficult or controversial positions for additional review and decisioning by the Comp Manager and/or Director HR Services to ensure compliance.
  • Assists Comp Manager and HRBPs in the review and mapping of M&A job codes to Integrity job codes.
  • May lead or assist with large scale projects to evaluate and ensure W&H compliance, including but not limited to PTO policy, exemption status for sales roles, and minimum wage.
  • Coordinates with Integrity’s internal Communications team for all program messaging.
  • Creates and documents key compensation processes.
  • Assists the Compensation Manager in administering the Employee Ownership Program (EOP.)
  • Stays current with all federal, state and local DOL laws and regulations.
  • Responds to ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

 

    Qualifications

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of compensation best practices.  
    • Strong project management – ability to develop project plans and timelines, and execute against the plan on time and to meet project goals
    • Strong interpersonal communications – ability to communicate effectively across multiple key stakeholders, including internal shared services groups and vendors 
    • Very collaborative
    • Organizational resourcefulness – ability to navigate complexity and thrive in a fast paced and changing environment using strong judgment and decision-making skills
    • High accountability – own outcomes and drive high quality results
    • Strong analytical skills - with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights, recommendations, and action plans

     

    Requirements:                              

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
    • Working towards CCP designation a plus.
    • 2-4 years working in a Human Resources role with 2 years of hands-on experience in a compensation role.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Index/Match, pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Excel, PPT, Word, and survey applications
