We are currently developing voclosporin, an investigational therapy, for the treatment of lupus nephritis (LN) and other proteinuric diseases. We are also advancing voclosporin ophthalmic solution (VOS), a topical formulation, for the treatment of dry eye syndrome (DES). And we are actively hunting for other innovative drugs which have the potential to change the lives of people with rare autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Job Description

The Specialist, Marketing Operations, as the content SME, is responsible for planning and operational excellence for promotional tactics. This role will support the Marketing and broader Commercial organization in preparation for a new product launch via quality and timely delivery of promotional assets through the review and production processes.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations this role will execute critical duties including:

  • MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) Review Process Enablement
  • Production & Fulfillment Operations
  • Reporting and Performance Insights and Processes

 

Primary Responsibilities:

MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) Review Process Enablement

  • Understand brand priorities and the promotional material submission plan to ensure and manage timely delivery of promotional assets
  • Create weekly agenda and coordinate submission through the review and approval process.
  • Facilitate Medical Regulatory Legal content review meetings and capture all progress to gain approval
  • Manage expiring assets by reports and inclusion to planning discussions
  • Trains stakeholders on the appropriate processes to ensure delivery on time
  • Committed to ongoing process effectiveness and optimization
  • Implement and manage tools to support Med/Reg/Legal reviews

Production & Fulfillment Operations

  • Manage portfolio of promotional material inventory and fulfillment, including label updates
  • Ensure expirations managed from inventory as appropriate based on owner and MLR agreement
  • Manage production and warehouse services to keep asset production activities within agreed timeline

Marketing insights

  • Deliver metrics and other reports to showcase MLR performance for stakeholders and full process; highlighting Accomplishments and Key Areas of Focus
  • Analyze existing data and information as well as historical trends in order to provide early insights into best practices and new trends that guarantee data quality across marketing metrics and operations.
  • Partner to facilitate annual discussions and feedback sessions to implement system and process efficiencies

Other Ongoing Marketing Operations Support

  • Provide promotional material and project management support for Speaker Programs
  • Support Congress, trades shows, etc logistics as needed
  • Conduct internal planning meetings to ensure events are managed within budget, on time and are impactful events for attendees

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years cross-functional operations and/or marketing experience (production environments preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Independent worker with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to multitask with demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated competency using information technology
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to influence customers with and without authority

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of pharmaceutical or related experience preferred
  • Experience working with a collaboration/external partner, vendors
  • Understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products in the US
  • Understanding of the US Healthcare environment
  • Previous Agency and/or brand marketing experience
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Veeva (or comparable review tools) and demonstrated understanding MRL (Medical, Regulatory, Legal) process
