Job Description

Information Security Engineer –Vulnerability Management duties include:

  • Manage a Vulnerability Management Program including Patch Management and Configuration Management
  • Ensure the enterprise network devices are configured and secured to the best extent possible;
  • Provide expert security tool support (SIEM, vulnerability and configuration management);
  • Perform router and firewall configuration assessments to ensure least privileged functionality across the enterprise;
  • Provide subject matter experience in planning of the new technology projects; and
  • Support the annual DOJ vulnerability and Penetration Testing (VAPT) assessment;

 

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of information systems security experience.


Preferred Skills

  • Cybersecurity certification preferred (e.g. CISSP, CEH);
  • Security tool certification preferred; and
  • Network certification preferred (e.g. CCNA).

Active Public Trust clearance, adjudicated within past 5 years.
