MAGNUS Management Group, LLC is looking for a Full-time, Permanent Business Analyst to work at our client site in Washington, DC to support a large government contract.  The position is client-facing and offers a great deal of exposure to government contracting, including management-level client interaction, budget and financial analysis, as well as performance measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and reporting on customer budgets and operating plans
• Tracking, reporting, and execution of funding for hardware/software procurements and renewals
• Burn analysis and reporting to management and senior leadership
• Management, coordination, and tracking of contracts, monthly spending, and future projections
• Tracking and reporting on various metrics related to financial
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting for various financial and contracts related initiatives
• Identifying and resolving end-user issues or other support needs through email, phone, chat or on-site meetings

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of budget, financial, accounting experience
• 2+ years of experience in customer facing role (Government budgeting, financial analysis is a plus)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong communications skills and ability to work in high-speed and demanding environments
• You must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Experience:

• Business/financial analysis: 5 years (Required)
• customer facing: 2 year (Required)
