Job Description

Looking to work and support a well-established team? Do you have great customer service skills? Have a Top Secret clearance and have experience with administrative functions? Then we need you! We’re seeking a Work Order Clerk/Administrative Assistant to support of an operations and maintenance (O&M) team at a Beltsville, MD facility. A work order clerk in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) is responsible for receipt of service calls, dispatching technicians, daily administration of work requests and preventative maintenance work orders, customer interface and generation of reports. The work shift is 7:30am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday (this work cannot be performed remotely).  Must have a Top-Secret clearance.  As a minimum, the CMMS Administrator shall possess at least two (2) years of recent experience (within the past 5 years) performing similar duties as those required by this contract (summarized below), with specific experience using Maximo.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project implementation as needed.
  • Support the Project Manager with external contacts as needed.
  • Responsible for client/tenant follow-up, call-backs, resolving and rescheduling pending work orders, when appropriate.
  • Work order management in the CMMS system, including receiving work request, assigning work orders, entering system data and providing the overall system administration.
  • Set up, maintain, and organize department's central files, information, filing, and messages.
  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities team.
  • Support site activities as needed.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Two years of General Office or Customer Service experience
    • Work order management software experience highly desirable (Maximo)
    • Experience with building management and facility operations & maintenance a plus.
    • Must possess excellent computer software skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and web-based programs.
