Job Description

Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports NVE’s proposal for the upcoming Architect of the Capitol (AOC) Facility Operations supporting two (2) different sites:  Capitol Police Buildings and Grounds (CPBG) located on the Capitol Hill Complex in Washington, D.C., and Alternate Computer Facility (ACF) located within National Capitol Region in Northern Virginia.

The contract performs the following critical functions:

  • Facilities management; operations; preventative/corrective maintenance and repairs, to include any necessary labor, tools, and equipment;
  • Administrative support;
  • Snow and ice treatment/removal;
  • Landscaping maintenance;
  • Custodial services.

 

Qualifications

The SME must have had direct work experience with the incumbent contractor performing on existing contract or as former civil servant.  The SME will hold specific knowledge of:

  • Facility requirements for the AOC.
  • AOC concerns and hot buttons.
  • Unique operating issues at locations.

The SME reports directly to the NVE capture manager.
