HVAC Technician needed at Department of State in Maryland/Washington DC.  Must have at least 4 years continuous experience and other certifications in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82. An HVAC journeyman’s license is preferred, or the equivalent in years of CFC certified HVAC work and the willingness to obtain a journeyman license.

Equipment includes CRAC units, Chillers, VAVs, fan coil unit and air handlers. Oversees and performs corrective and preventive maintenance, testing overhauling and installation of sophisticated refrigeration, dehumidification, Air Conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.

Must be computer literate, understand BMS controls, and trades as they relate to servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment. Additional duties will be to maintain commercial kitchen refrigeration as required.

Must have a Top-Secret Clearance.
