Job Description

The ICU RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the Intensive Care Unit Setting. The ICU RN communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurses/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision is a mentor and educator.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year ICU RN experience required
  • Must have active state license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS
  • Experience using EMR
