Job Description
- Analyze product cost structures (BOM) to identify cost drivers and value improvement opportunities
- Develop cost models and benchmarking analyses to support data-driven decisions
- Evaluate technical feasibility and financial impact of cost optimization initiatives (e.g., ROI, payback)
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to implement value engineering and design-to-cost measures
- Provide cost analysis to support product development, design changes, and sourcing decisions
- Lead or support value analysis workshops and prepare business cases for improvement initiatives
- Maintain cost databases and benchmarking data to ensure transparency and comparability
- Track implementation progress and validate realized savings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production, or related field)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including cost breakdown analysis, cost modeling, and financial evaluation (ROI, payback, margin impact)
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and product structures (BOM analysis)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present technical and financial insights clearly
- Fluent in English
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and curious mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization

You will analyze product functions, materials, designs, and manufacturing processes to identify cost-reduction and value improvement opportunities. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams, you will apply cost analysis, benchmarking, and financial evaluation to ensure high performance, quality, and profitability.
