Job Description
- Technical and disciplinary management of the Oil & Gas Upstream sales team
- Budget planning and ensuring budget compliance
- On-site customer visits together with EMENA (Europe, Middle East & North Africa) subsidiaries and representatives
- Generation and transfer of industry-specific knowledge
- Identifying and analyzing market trends and deriving measures from them
- Competitor monitoring and analysis
- Preparation and delivery of product and business area presentations
- Participation in international business field meetings, trade fairs, and congresses
- Occasional participation in ASM/IASM meetings
- Maintenance of the associated reporting system
Qualifications
- Ideally, a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, further training as a pump engineer, or successfully completed further training as a technician or comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge of the design of rotary positive displacement pumps
- Experience in the oil and gas industry and knowledge of the functioning and selection of downhole pumps would be an advantage
- Process-oriented, committed, and independent way of working
- Strong customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- High degree of flexibility, resilience, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for several days at a time, both domestically and abroad
- Confident use of common IT tools, in particular MS Office and SAP
