Experience hiring in a Technical IT capacity is essential – including but not limited to the hiring of Architects, Developers, Cyber Security and ITIL individuals. Experience with hiring for Technical Housing Professionals would also be extremely beneficial.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes from role approval through to contract generation.
  • Ensuring consistent and clear vacancies are posted to the careers pages of the intranet, internet, and 3rd party job boards
  • Support the development of a 'positive resourcing experience' for all involved parties – particularly ensuring candidates are kept warm and catered to throughout the process
  • Conduct screening calls with viable candidates, ensuring they are a suitable fit in terms of right to work, salary expectations, and technical skillset.
  • To support the development of direct sourcing techniques to attract candidates to opportunities. (LinkedIn & other social media)
  • Regular meeting attendance both in person and by conference call, to discuss and track the progress of specific recruitment projects with hiring managers.
  • Support colleagues in the recruitment team and cover absences and holidays
  • Conduct training sessions with hiring managers and the wider business where necessary on the use of our systems and our processes
  • Attend regular meetings with the wider HR team as well as frequent update meetings with the recruitment team.
  • Maintain good data integrity and administration tracking throughout the recruitment process on our Smart Recruiters ATS system.
  • Travel to other NEC UK Ltd sites as required for meetings/interviews. (Hemel Hempstead along with your most local office).

  • Significant recruitment background. Ideally, both agency and in-house experience.
  • Experience hiring Technical IT individuals such as Architects, DBAs, and Developers.
  • Competent web searching skills across multiple sites, in particular Boolean searching.
  • Experience conducting screening calls that both ensures candidate suitability and sell the benefits of the business.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, including via the phone, email and Teams Video, along with in person and the ability to build strong working relationships there.
  • Experience providing guidance and coaching to line managers on day-to-day recruitment matters and often enforcing best practice processes.
  • Solid knowledge of the full recruitment life cycle and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout
  • Good understanding/appreciation of recruitment within the context of employment law and best practice and an understanding of UK Recruitment Legislation
  • Previous ATS experience (Ideally SmartRecruiters)
