Job Description

Please note this role can be offered on a hybrid working basis. 

Embark on an exciting career as an AWS Cloud Support Engineer and become an integral part of our team, delivering 24x7x365 support to our valued customer base. Join us during our transition to a cloud-first hosting platform, where you'll work with Azure, OCI, and AWS.  As a cloud engineer, you'll drive change, automation, and innovation in our cloud journey, making a significant impact in the world of technology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely incident management, ensuring swift resolution to customer alerts.
  • Optimize customer workloads daily, balancing cost efficiency and performance.
  • Deliver exceptional service, collaborating directly with customers on various projects.
  • Contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted support.
  • Stay abreast of cloud best practices and advancements, driving continuous improvement.
  • Generate detailed reports on compute requirements and cost optimization.
  • Configure cloud roles and customize permissions.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience working with UK Public Cloud
  • Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform would be an advantage
  • Strong command-line configuration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload effectively.
