Job Description

• Program PLC on welding automation manufacturing equipment

• Cost Justification of Refurbishment/Expansion Projects

• Procurement of equipment

• Coordinate maintenance and repair of welding equipment

• Establishes welding procedures to guide production and welding personnel relating to specification restrictions

• Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes

• Develop the process and gain control of welding, specifically laser welding and spot welding

       


Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience     

• Laser Welding, and/or Welding Automation Equipment knowledge

• Automotive or automotive supplier manufacturing experience a plus

• Knowledge of Low and/or High Volume welders a plus
