Job Description

As the HR Learning & Development Specialist, your role will be to identify and support the learning needs within nClouds. The most important objective is to understand nClouds’s development requirements and work on an effective learning strategy to deliver learning interventions. This role will require you to work closely across various functions to create a learning-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, communicate and coordinate learning and development activities across the business, as appropriate and play an active role in the launch of new L&D initiatives

  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs

  • Create, track and execute training plan to fill the gaps identified as part of the TNA exercise

  • Identify and coordinate with internal and external trainers/module leaders/mentors to conduct development programs.

  • Evaluate each program’s effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

  • Conduct analysis to assess the impact of training delivered, identify changes required in the training plan, curriculum, content, and schedule to make the training more effective

  • Document the progress of all learning programs uniformly, maintain monthly MIS, analyze the effectiveness of learning programs, present relevant L&D analytics to the team.

  • Provide necessary information about sessions, publishing training calendars, and scheduling events

  • Support the HR Manager in the coordination of the succession planning process, ensuring the succession plans are robust, organic, and fulfill the current and future needs of the business.

  • Support the HR team in the communication and delivery of performance appraisals which then filter into the Training Need Analysis

  • Provides reports for Learning Management System data and metrics

  • Assists with day to day trouble reports and LMS maintenance

  • Analyzes and researches new ways to use the LMS

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in human resources with a focus on learning and development or experience in logistics or project management with a passion for learning

  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

  • You have experience dealing with training providers, consultants, etc.

  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation

  • Experience in managing training for remote teams/environment

  • Experience in handling performance management function will be an added advantage

  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools

  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate)

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques

  • Experience with e-learning platforms

  • MS Office proficiency

  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

  • Strong communication skills

  • BS degree in Education, Training or related field

  • Experience in working with or training internal teams
